IRRESISTIBLE PISTACHIO PUPPY CHOW: A Crunchy Delight

 


THE INGREDIENTS LIST:


9 Cups.Of rice or corn Chex cereal.


1 Cup.Of semisweet chocolate chips.


1/2 Cup.Of creamy peanut butter.


1/4 Cup.Of unsalted butter.


1 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.


1 1/2 Cups.Of powdered sugar.


1 Cup.Of shelled pistachios, roughly chopped.


1/2 Cup.Of white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling).


PREPARATION:


1st Step 


In a large mixing dish, combine the Chex cereal and milk.


2nd Step 


Put the butter, peanut butter, and semisweet chocolate chips in a bowl that is suitable to use in the microwave. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each, until it's smooth and well mixed. Take caution not to become too hot.


3rd Step 


Make sure the vanilla extract is well combined with the melted chocolate mixture by stirring it in. Once all of the cereal is equally covered, pour the chocolate mixture over it and gently fold and toss.


4th Step 


Put the powdered sugar in a big plastic bag that can be sealed. Spoon the cereal covered in chocolate inside the bag and close it. Make sure the cereal is well covered in powdered sugar by giving the bag a good shake.


5th Step 


Following the coating of the cereal, add the chopped pistachios to the bag and shake one more to ensure the nuts are spread evenly.


6th Step 


Using the same technique as previously, melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave. Pour melted white chocolate over Pistachio Puppy Chow to provide a decorative touch and more sweetness.


7th Step 


To cool and solidify, spread the Pistachio Puppy Chow onto a baking sheet. Break it into bite-sized clusters and serve when it has cooled. Any leftovers should be kept in an airtight container.
