Ingredients:

400 grams of Maria-type biscuits or Digestive biscuits

500 ml of milk

200 grams of sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla essence

200 grams of room temperature butter

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (optional)

Decorate with your preferred toppings (chocolate chips, nuts, fruit, etc.)

Instructions:

Step 1

In a spacious bowl, combine milk, sugar, and vanilla essence. Mix thoroughly until the sugar dissolves completely.

Step 2

Add room temperature butter and blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

Step 3

For a chocolate variation, include cocoa powder and blend until fully integrated.

Step 4

Take a suitable mold or container for refrigeration and begin assembling the cake. Start with a layer of cookies at the bottom, ensuring full coverage.

Step 5

Pour a layer of the milk and butter mixture over the cookies, ensuring they are completely covered. Repeat this process, alternating between cookie layers and the mixture until all ingredients are used.

Complete the cake with a final layer of the mixture and adorn the top with your preferred toppings, such as chocolate chips, nuts, or fresh fruit.

Step 6

Cover the cake with plastic wrap or a lid and allow it to rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. This allows the cookies to soften, creating a perfect texture.

Enjoy.
